How to use it

  1. Upload a square logo, ideally at least 512×512 pixels. Non-square images are cropped from the centre.
  2. Download the ZIP and upload the files to the root of your website.
  3. Add the lines from head.html to the <head> of your pages.

Fine detail disappears at small sizes; use a simple, high-contrast icon. See the favicon guide for details.

Frequently asked questions

Which favicon sizes do I need?
16–48 pixels are enough for browser tabs; 180×180 for iOS and 192 and 512 pixels for Android/PWA. The pack contains them all.
Can I make a favicon from an SVG logo?
Yes; the SVG is rasterised sharply and converted to every size.
Is my file uploaded?
No; every size is generated in your browser.
